Smartphone Mobile Will Seize Market 2010

Sales of smartphones will pursue the sale of mobile phones in 2012, and is expected smartphone will beat a traditional phone in the next two years.

According to a study by Infonetics Research, the smartphone is now being increased their percentage in the global handset market share.

The increase was caused by high-speed data network across the U.S., Europe and the countries of the Asia Pacific, which allows smartphone users to use Internet services while traveling, and access streaming music and video on their handsets.

Smartphone is more than just make and receive calls, but also a web browser capability, and push email. “Smartphones are on track to score 14.5 per cent increase in the number of units sold worldwide in 2009, and the annual growth rate reaching 21 percent in 2008-2013. This is significantly better than any other mobile phone segment,” said Richard Webb , analyst for mobile devices at Infonetics Research.

“While the smartphone predictable income is not too obvious in 2009. We expect that an increase in 2010 and continues to grow, to easily exceed the combined income in 2012 device.”

At the end of this year, approximately 1.1 billion mobile phones will be sold worldwide. Nokia remains the market leader, but the other smartphone vendors, such as Research in Motion, the BlackBerry maker, and Apple iPhone get tajinya.

“Competition for the iPhone increased sharply,” Webb warned. “While developing iPhone applications, iPhone operating system will be facing stiff competition from open-source platform Android. Apple will have to fight hard to push back market share above 10 percent
