Nokia: Camera phones will Replace SLR Camera
Technological developments are rapidly camera phone. Always had a smart phone 8-megapixel camera, and even more. A Nokia executive was confident to say that camera phones will be able to match or even exceed the SLR type of camera technology.
“Camera phones in the near future will revolutionize the camera system market. No need to carry heavy cameras like that,” said Anssi Vanjoki, Nokia Executive Vice President of Marketing, referring to the SLR camera.
Currently, the smart phone camera quality has been matched more or less ordinary pocket camera products. But the mobile phone camera can not compete with the upper class such as SLR cameras considering the technology form the small and weaker.
Vanjoki also commented on the video capabilities of HD (high definition) on the phone. Vanjoki assess phones that can record HD video will soon be marketed in the next 12 months.
Vanjoki may mean there is a Nokia phone with HD capability. Therefore, some current mobile phones like Sony Ericsson or Samsung Omnia Vivaz HD already has the capability to record HD video.
