LG Recommend Phone for the Blind
LG Electronics, the third largest mobile phone maker in the world announced a phone for the blind. The cell phone showed the blind, the phone menu, and SMS messages.
Motorola to add voice recognition function of TTS (Text to Speech) on the phone Wine Phone III. The company was successful in carrying out the construction for voice calling, search menu, and voice dialing, the company said.
Button on the keypad also allows the blind to easily find, as raised letters. Wine Phone III users can download audio books on their mobile phone via an electronic library, which is run by the Library Sangnam Motorola.
Motorola also include SOS service GPS (Global Positioning System) to assist the blind in emergency situations.
