LCD 32 Inch TV With Low Prices
Sharp Electronics will expand the LCD TV assembly plant in Indonesia. With the country assembled in 32-inch LCD TV prices could be under USD 3 million.
“For the current 32-inch LCD size of approximately USD 3 million, but the price will be cheaper than USD 3 million,” said Andry Adi Utomo, Assistant GM Marketing Home Appliance Sharp Electronics Indonesia on the sidelines of the Discover campaign Fair in Jakarta Indonesia.
Andry says as many as 15 thousand units of LCD TVs are still imported from Malaysia every month. Plant expansion is expected May or June and will produce 32-inch LCD TV sizes that are most in demand in the market.
“Production will continue on the size of 40 inches,” he said.
He added that TV demand will increase in coming months because it is facing the World Cup.
However, Sharp’s view there is no strong demand for 3D TV. According to Andry, depends on the 3D TV content should also be 3D.
“3D TV waiting for the availability of 3D content, while broadcasting in Indonesia there is no other 3D including the media also does not exist,” he said.
He added that Sharp’s 3D technology will be more direct with 3D games. Andry said Sharp’s 3D TV will ship with Japan’s Nintendo game vendors.
“Besides for 3D viewing it should also be careful not to stay long, because there are negative effects,” he said.
While Andri said for the current delivery of electronic products from the factory Sharp is descending.
