Increasing the use HSPA Growth in the World
HSPA mobile broadband usage in various countries in the world increased by 75% compared to last year or there growth of more than 9 million new HSPA connections per month.
“Every month there is the addition of over 9 million new HSPA connections worldwide, compared to what happened the year before that only 5.5 million per month,” said Senior Director of Service GSM Association, Jaikishan Rajaraman.
Rajaraman is also a member of the board of the Open Mobile Alliance’s say, for Europe and the Asia-Pacific is expected respectively 3 million new connections per month, while new connections to North America predicted 1.3 million.
“The need for mobile broadband continue to increase, even thought there would be 27 additional HSPA connection again at the end of 2009,” said the financial sector engineering graduates from the National University of Singapore’s.
He emphasized that the fastest growth will occur in Africa, Eastern Europe, and America.
Currently there are 321 HSPA networks in 120 countries around the world and 285 of these networks has been used commercially to support more than 167.5 million connections.
“The network is supported by more than 1,600 HSPA tech devices, including smart phones, netbooks, and notebook PCs, and dongles which sends the internet connection to all users around the world,” he said.
He argues, HSPA-based technology continues to grow in a phenomenal blessing thousands of operators, vendors, applications, and service providers contribute to the presence of a valued network of reliable and competitive.
The network will also be included the next-generation GSM technology that is HSPA + and LTE.
Latest technologies that will improve data access speeds to support more qualified operator services, by providing a rich multimedia features.
Even believes his side later in 2014, every month mobile devices will access more data than is happening at all in 2008.
“Three quarters of this data traffic will be connected with internet access, while the remainder will be connected through audio and video streaming,” he said.
According to him, it was a sign of significant change which indicates that mobile broadband will be more widely used in the coming years.
HSPA
Globally, HSPA + technology is a step ahead compared to HSPA has been implemented in several countries in the world. Globally, there are currently 54 + HSPA network with 28 of them have been sell.
Meanwhile, as many as 50 operators around the world and even has said it plans to move and conduct LTE trials are expected to begin to be introduced early next year.
LTE itself is widely regarded as a mobile broadband technology that will de facto adopted by the majority of operators around the world.
“Does the operator have to switch to the HSPA + or directly to LTE, which must have all the operators in the world certainly will use GSM technology to meet the high demand for mobile broadband services to various mobile phone devices,” he said.
Own side of the GSMA are organizations representing the interests of mobile communications industry worldwide.
In Indonesia HSPA + technology is capable of data download speeds up to 21 Mbps already started being implemented.
The plan, starting later this year, has to cover the latest tech network
