Intel dominates the personal computer microchip market facing federal lawsuit over ‘illegal threat “that used to dominate the sale of microchips.
New York court accusing Intel of “bribery and coercion” to create a computer manufacturer to buy chips from the company. The prosecutor Andrew Cuomo said the federal lawsuit anti competitive posted on Intel, after investigation for nearly two years.
Intel said in a statement that “the decision to file a lawsuit against us wrong”.
The faster the Intel action, the faster the computer industry can continue, said Ed Black, head of the computer industry associations and communications.
In May, Intel was fined U.S. $ 1.5 billion by European competition authorities. Company argued not guilty in that case and is now in the appeals
